Meet Monica

As a local Monica has a strong connection to the community. Monica grew up in West Pennant Hills and was educated in Cherrybrook. She now lives in Carlingford with her husband Tim, and their two young daughters, Alice and Grace.

Monica understands the challenges and concerns facing the residents of Epping, especially families like her own. She is passionate about making Epping more liveable; improving housing affordability for young people and helping young people buy a home; as well as advocating for better health services and schools, as well as world-class public transport for all who live in the Epping electorate.

Local Issues

Better Public Transport

Epping is a thriving area that deserves first class transport options. I will continue to advocate for better train services and better bus connections between transport hubs including Epping Train Station, light rail stops and bus stops on the M2. You can sign my bus petition here and tell me about your experiences with trains here.

Telopea Redevelopment

The Telopea redevelopment project is making progress, with the refurbishment of the Wade Street Towers—known as "The Three Sisters"—currently underway. I will continue to work with Council and government bodies to bring clarity to this project for residents each step of the way. Speeches in Hansard.

Fighting for Dence Park

Dence Park Pool holds historical as well as sentimental value for our area. This pool is a local asset and I will continue to advocate for its reopening to serve our community once again.
