I’m Monica Tudehope, your local member for Epping.
As your representative in State Parliament, it is my privilege to represent you. I am committed to listening, advocating, and acting to ensure our community remains one of the best places to live, work, and raise a family.
I bring with me over 13 years’ experience working for and within government, at a Federal and State level. I started my career as a graduate with the Australian Government, where I also had the opportunity of working in the office of the Prime Minister.
I served as Head of Policy to the former NSW Finance Minister, Mr Dominic Perrottet, and then served as his Deputy Chief of Staff in the portfolio of Treasury. When Mr Perrottet became Premier of NSW, I was promoted to Deputy Chief of Staff, overseeing the Government’s policy agenda.
In leading the drafting of five State Budgets, helping to deliver record funding for infrastructure investment as well as cost of living support for families, I am well aware of the importance of sound planning and sensible government spending. I am proud to have led on a number of reforms to make NSW the best place to live, work and raise a family, including the removal of stamp duty, improving health and education policy, and reforms to support cashless gaming.
I’m committed to fighting for every suburb in our area to get the services it needs — whether that’s great local schools, access to high-quality healthcare, reliable transport, or safe, well-maintained roads. My priorities are supporting local families, easing the cost of living, making home ownership more affordable, and ensuring our community remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
As your Liberal representative, I will always put our community first and uphold the values that make Australia strong.
